Two exciting Irish events taking place this week in which Trend Ireland is delighted to be participating, further strengthening our wider-community links:
TY (Transition Year) Expo, Kilkenny (Avril Ronan, Global Programme Manager for Internet Safety)
Thousands of Transition Year students (15-16 year olds) will flock to Kilkenny Wednesday and Thursday for TY Expo, where they will learn about all the amazing projects and initiatives that they can get involved in during their Transition Year.
Trend Ireland will host a stand at TY Expo, promoting the positive and successful use of the internet. Students and teachers will be able to register for our ‘What’s Your Story?’ competition 2016 and also for our Transition Year Be-smart Internet Safety Programme. And of course, we will have Oculus Rift with us! We also have Transition Year student volunteers from Kilkenny College who will support us at our stand. Kilkenny College have worked closely with us over the years with our Be-smart programme, so it’s great to be able to partner up with them.
Stay tuned for all the photos and live action! Please re-tweet and like to help us spread the word about the work that we are doing to support our ISKF mission:
